Children’s Activities this Summer!

There are lots of fun things going on this summer for children!  Here is a list of the activities for children ages completed Kindergarten to 6th grades.

Kid’s Day Out (Tuesdays/ Thursdays, 9 am – 3 pm, June 7 – Aug. 2, excluding July 5th)
Ages – Kindergarten – 4th Grade
Cost: $10 enrollment fee & $20 / day

Children love coming on these days for the time allowed connecting with friends, the activities, and the field trips. Join others in experiencing God’s incredible wonder by going to the Crystal Bridge and enjoying the beauty of the amazing flowers and plants, see the creatures He has created by visiting the OKC Zoo, have a blast at the Splash Zone, and many more outings!

Sports Camp (May 29 – June 1)
Ages – Completed 2nd – 5th Grades
Cost: Free to the Public

Sports Camp for those who have completed 2nd – 5th  grade.  It is led by the high school students, college students and the director of youth ministries, Jimmie Tribble.  On Tuesday and Wednesday, they will learn the basics of basketball, volleyball, football, and track. On Thursday and Friday, they will learn the basics of tennis, baseball, golf, and soccer.  They will learn sportsmanship, respect for authority, and leadership while being presented the gospel.

Please bring snacks and something to drink daily.  On Friday, at noon, we will provide pizza & snow cones.

Vacation Bible School: Game On (June 4 – 8, 9 am – noon)
Ages – Completed Kindergarten – 5th grade
Cost: Free to the Public

This annual event is one of joy, exhilaration and education. The children will come to know Christ or more of Christ through memorizing scripture, fun games and exciting themes. Teachers and students alike look forward to this life-changing and memory making experience.

 

Worship Arts Camp for Kids @ Chisholm Heights Baptist Church, Mustang (July 23 – 25)
Ages: Completed 3rd – 6th grades
Cost: $50, Sign up begins in June

Worship Arts Camp for Kids (WACK) has a primary goal to come together to learn more about God through music, worship, Special Tracks, and good fellowship.  Children put together a musical using various forms of performance, media, and art and perform it on July 25 at 6:30 pm in a free performance open to the public.
