I want to encourage you to consider attending two very important training opportunities:
Capital Baptist Association’s Prayer and Evangelism Team and the BGCO are partnering to provide an Evangelism Tune-Up training on Thursday evening, August 2 at the CBA office. The training is open to church leaders, other church members and, of course, church staff members. The evening will begin with a wonderful BBQ meal at 5:45 and the training will go from 6:15 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Everything that will be provided, including the meal, is free; the Edna McMillan State Missions Offering is subsidizing this training event. Deadline to sign up for the meal is July 30. If enough are interested, we will take a church bus.
The annual C.O.M.E. Conference sponsored by Capital Baptist Association and Union Baptist Association for Sunday School (SS) teachers, directors, outreach leaders, etc. will, once again, be held at FBC Moore on Saturday, August 18. It begins with donuts and coffee at 8:30; and the training will be from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Training for every SS age group, plus other topics applicable to growing church attendance will be offered. If you can only stay through lunch, that’s fine. Our church will cover the $5 cost for lunch, but you need to register by calling the church office or by contacting SS Director, Wendell Kluge.
I know that you want to see us win more people to Christ, reach more peopled for church membership and service, and begin growing numerically. The above-mentioned training events are designed to help churches reach, teach, win, and develop people for Christ. Please join me at this exciting training events!
You are loved!
