The women’s ministry is about connecting with women of all ages. There are programs/classes to learn crafts, play games, share food, or many other outreach opportunities to help ladies fellowship and mentor one another. Some classes/ events will be in the evening and some may occur on Saturdays. Time and place of activities will be announced accordingly.
BGCO Women’s Spring Retreat
Head to Falls Creek for a weekend at the annual Spring Retreat! Ladies will hear from nationally known speakers who will deepen your relationship with our Savior, encourage and inspire each of us to be the woman God intended us to be, and return to church on Sunday refreshed and motivated to further His kingdom!
Ladies Fall Tour
Sign up for the annual road trip! This is an excellent time to get to know a lady you have seen at church, but maybe have not had an opportunity to have actual conversation. These road trips vary from year-to-year as to destination. Past trips have been to Eureka Springs, AR; Colorado Springs, CO; Branson, MO and many more. See plays such as “Jonah” and “Noah”. No matter where you go, you will learn about God’s Word and feel God’s love at work. Come back feeling a deep connection with others and ready to serve the Lord!
Ladies Bible Studies
Dates and times will vary for small group Bible study. This can be an intense study guided by well-known women’s ministry leaders such as Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, and Anne Graham Lotz, just to name a few. Although the class watches these ladies and others via video, there is a leader in the class to guide the study, focus on scripture and workbook and lead discussions. These studies encourage the students to reach deep within and discover who God intended each individual to be. After attending one of these studies, the walk with Christ will be closer, prayer life will be stronger and eyes opened to the vast ways God works.
WMU – Women’s Missionary Union (9:30 am)
First Wednesday of each month
Learn about missionaries and their work worldwide; help support missionminded activities in our community.
Mark 16:15 NKJV “and He said to them, ‘go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” That means even Midwest City!
Once every other other month, women in the church are invited to learn a new craft or skill from other women in the church. Come fellowship with your fellow ladies. This is open to all ages of ladies! Check with the church office to see what the upcoming Saturday craft is and what you need to bring to attend.
A group of mothers comes together to pray for our children and their schools. What if you could change the world – not just for today but for generations to come? At Moms in Prayer International, we believe that a mom can be the single greatest force for good in the lives of her children and the children around her. We believe that lives and whole communities are changed forever when moms gather together to pray to the only One who can change a human heart. Moms can make the difference as they reach out to God in prayer- moms just like you.
