Dr. Mike was called by the Lord to FBC Midwest City in October 2001. He has earned a Bachelor Degree from Dallas Baptist University (1980), a Master of Divinity Degree (1985) and Doctor of Ministry Degree (1990) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his precious wife, Johnnie Kay, have two sons: Grant, who is a 2010 graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and Brent (1999 Graduate of Oklahoma Baptist university) who, along with his wife Heather and their daughter, Audrey, live in Aurora, Illinois.

"Get behind the Preacher, sing in the choir." This has been Bro. Terry's exhortation since he joined the FBC ministerial staff in 1984. Under his leadership we offer Children's Choirs, Youth Choir, Adult Choir, Ensemble groups and Orchestra. Terry and his wife, Karen, have one son - Jeff and his wife, Kristie and two grandchildren, Hayden and Hunter.

Jim has been a part of the ministerial staff at First Baptist since 1988. He leads youth activities in the newly remodeled "Upper Room." His summer is packed with good stuff for teens to do. Jim and his wife, Karen, have four children.

Janet Atterbury

Janet began serving as the Pastor's Admininistrative Assistant and Church Office Administrator in November 2005 and worked as the membership secretary in our office since January, 2001. She and her husband, Jim, have four children and eight grandchildren. A "can-do-it-all" kind of person, Janet is involved in practically every ministry in the church.

Patti Tanksley

Patti has the responsibility of posting of contributions, paying the bills, and many other matters related to the church's financial records. She and her husband, Bob, moved to Midwest City from California in 1998. Together they have five children and eight grandchildren.

Autumn Babcock
Music Assistant

|
|
|
Autumn is the music assistant. She served in the music office in August1998-Sept. 2000 and then returned in September of 2002. She helps plan and produce the Christmas musicals, special events programs and Children's Music Academy, along with the weekly music ministry schedule. She has a Bachelors degree from UCO. Autumn and her husband, Bryan, have two children - Alaina and Luke.

Charm Strickland

Charm has been the Nursery Coordinator since 2003. She has a Bachelors degree in early childhood education from the University of Oklahoma. She coordinates events and gives leadership to the Mother's Day out and Parent's night out ministries. She teaches in Mission Friends and Vacation Bible School. Charm and her husband, Chad, have three children - Karis, Lake and Ily Rose.
