Preschool Ministry
We love our preschoolers at First Baptist Church. We want the youngest among us to learn and experience the love of Jesus every time they join us! The majority of our preschool ministries are located on the first floor of our Children’s wing on the South side of our facility. For the most convenient access to this portion of our facility, please enter through the doors on the Southwest side of our building near our playground across from Rose Field.
Nursery
A nursery is provided for babies through preschool age during all our services and regular events.
Sunday School Classes
Our Sunday School classes are broken down into grades from Kindergarten through 5th grade. Each class will spend time studying the bible together and learning that all of the scriptures point to Jesus Christ.
Children's Music Academy (CMA) - Sunday Nights
Children learn to sing and develop musical skills as they worship Jesus together. These classes are for children four years old through 5th grade, located the second floor of our children’s wing on the south side of our facility. CMA is from 6 – 7:15 pm on Sunday Nights during our Fall and Spring Semesters.
Wednesday Nights
Mission Friends
- This program teaches our preschool children the importance of missionaries going out to make disciples of all nations. Mission Friends meets Wednesdays from 6 – 7 pm during our Fall and Spring Semesters.
Summer Bible Study
- Children get their own age-appropriate Bible study on Wednesday nights during the Summer from 6 – 7 pm.
Mother's Day Out
Our Mother’s Day Out program is for babies (8 weeks) through preschool. MDO meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 3 pm with the option for Half or Full day. There is a $30 yearly enrollment fee per child with a max of $70 per family. Monthly pricing is $95 for half days and $190 for full days. Pre-K @ FBCMWC
Our Busy Bees and Friendly Frogs Preschool is a three-day program for children ages 3 or 4 years old by December 1st. Busy Bees and Friendly Frogs meet Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We have 2 morning classes from 9 am to 11:30 am and 2 afternoon classes from 12:30 pm to 3 pm. There is a $60 yearly enrollment fee and monthly tuition from September – April is $140 a month and $70 monthly tuition for August and May. Parent's Night Out
Parent’s Night Out is once a month from 6 - 10 pm in our Children’s Area for babies (8 weeks) – 5th grade. Cost is $15 per child (max $40 per family) and reservations are due by noon on Thursday the day before. Contact Leisa Robison at [email protected] for more information.
